Heads up! The contract will be through one of our outsourcing partners, but you'll be working full-time with us as part of our team.

We’re looking for a bright Communication Genie to strengthen how we communicate inside Critical TechWorks.

This role focuses on how information, priorities, and change flow across the organisation. You’ll create clear, engaging internal communication that helps people stay informed, connected, and aligned, especially in a fast-moving, high-change environment.

If you are able to work autonomously, know how to prioritise what truly matters, and remain steady during long periods of pressure and transformation, this role is built for you.

You’ll deliver internal communication initiatives across the organisation, with a strong focus on clarity, consistency, and engagement.

• Craft compelling internal content - intranet updates, news articles, newsletters, reports, and internal campaigns.

• Translate complex topics into clear, people-centred communication that supports understanding and alignment.

• Plan and execute internal campaigns that strengthen culture, connection, and a sense of belonging.

• Manage internal communication channels, ensuring content is timely, relevant, and well-prioritised.

• Safeguard the internal voice, maintain consistency in tone, style, and narrative across all materials.

• Support communication during periods of change or uncertainty with clear, structured messaging.

• Measure impact - track engagement and effectiveness, using insights to continuously improve internal communication.

• Work cross-functionally with multiple teams to align messages and avoid information overload.

Whatever you’re working on, here’s the lowdown on the technical skills you’re likely to have:

• Degree in Communications, Journalism, PR, or similar.

• Excellent writing skills, tailored to internal audiences.

• Strong editorial judgement and prioritisation skills.

• Autonomy and confidence to manage multiple streams of work.

• Resilience and composure in prolonged, high-pressure environments.

• Strong organisational and time-management skills.

• Ability to build trusted working relationships across the organisation.

• An analytical mindset to measure results and optimise impact.
