• Full Stack Development: Work across the full stack, from creating interactive user interfaces with modern JavaScript frameworks to developing robust backend services in Java.

• Database Integration: Integrate Java applications with databases like PostgreSQL or MongoDB, ensuring smooth data flow and storage.

• Agile Methodology Participation: Actively participate in Scrum events, contributing to the agile development process.

• Code Quality Assurance: Implement best practices for clean, testable, and efficient code, including unit testing and code reviews.

• Collaborative Problem-Solving: Work with other developers, product owners, and designers to brainstorm and implement effective solutions for complex software challenges.

• Continuous Integration and Deployment: Engage with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Git to automate the building, testing, and deployment of Java applications.

Whatever you’re working on, here’s the lowdown on the technical skills you’re likely to have:

• At least 2 years of experience using Java.

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (competency in Angular, React or Vue.js is a plus).

• Experienced with SQL and NoSQL databases.

• Familiarity with Microservices Architecture, Cloud Architecture and Container Architecture.

• Desirable knowledge in domain-driven design, event sourcing, reactive programming, automated testing, and security.

• Experience in developing Java UI applications using design principles, patterns, and best practices.

• Familiarity with different architecture concepts such as Cloud, Microservices, Containers, and Infrastructure as Code.

• Experience analyzing and improving app performance and resource utilization across the full stack.

• Travel abroad occasionally to support all phases of product development.

• Have excellent English oral and written skills. German communication skills will be a plus.
