As a Flutter Craftsman, you'll be translating creative designs into high-performance code, shaping the future of mobile applications across all platforms with cutting-edge technologies. • Code Development: Transform designs and wireframes into high-quality, responsive mobile code across various platforms.

• Feature Engineering: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement innovative features.

• Technology Integration: Continuously explore and integrate new mobile technologies to enhance development efficiency.

• Performance Optimization: Ensure optimal application performance and tuning.

• Cross-Platform Expertise: Work with Android and iOS operating systems, leveraging knowledge of location services and Flutter UI Framework.

• Quality Assurance: Maintain a strong focus on quality, employing best practices in mobile application development.

This is a Rockstar Developer role, our take on the classic Software Developer.

Standing as the brick-and-mortar of Critical TechWorks, it plays a crucial role in designing, developing, building, testing, deploying, and maintaining our product. You can find out more - and check other Development vacancies - at this link.

Whatever you’re working on, here’s the lowdown on the technical skills you’re likely to have:

• At least 3 years of experience developing complex software applications.

• Proven professional software development experience within the Mobile ecosystem.

• Experience in developing mobile applications using design principles, patterns, and best practices.

• Knowledge of Dart programming language.

• Knowledge of Flutter UI Framework.

• Knowledge of Node.js is a plus.

• Experience in Object Oriented Paradigm, JSON/Rest APIs and multi-threading tasks.

• Familiarity with Android and/or iOS mobile operating systems.

Apart from strong technical skills, our fast-paced, fully agile environment values autonomy, teamwork, interaction, and resilience. Therefore, our Flutter Craftsmen should: 

• Embrace agile practices, especially Scrum, leveraging its events to foster a high-performing team.

• Be cross-functional, developing new skills to enable a team that owns the entire product lifecycle.

• Apply standard engineering practices using tools like version control, IDEs, and dashboards for organized development.

• Adopt DevOps best practices, including Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for building, testing, and deploying reliable software.

• Operate software post-deployment, including outside working hours if needed (extra compensation applies).

• Travel abroad occasionally to support all phases of product development.

• Have excellent English oral and written skills. German communication skills will be a plus.
