A two-day hands-on workshop to provide you the knowledge about the organization and our working model, as well as tools for your new role.

Time to meet your Unit, your Project as well the key persons who will guide you in this new journey.
What will happen after my first week?
After the first week, you will manage your time between your team / project and other onboarding activities that we have planned for you. All the information about those activities and how to have access to all relevant information will be made available to you during your first day at the company.
WIM - Flexible Work Policy
We have adopted a flexible work policy – Work In Motion – a hybrid solution between the office and home, while still keeping the office as our main workspace.
As so, we encourage working at the office and face to face interactions with colleagues at least 2 to 3 times per week.
The onboarding week (first week) will be fully presential.

We have a flexible schedule. We work 40 hours per week, but you have the flexibility to manage your own schedule, as long as aligned with your team and project needs.

All the benefits we offer to our people are fiscally and legally compliant, and universal: applicable to all employees with a direct contract with Critical TechWorks (fixed-term or permanent contract), depending on the specific rules for each benefit.
All information will be available to you after your first day.

Porto & Lisbon Offices do not have garage spots available, except for motorcycles or bicycles. We have a #FlexMobility Benefit (applicable to all employees with a direct contract with Critical TechWorks > fixed-term or permanent contract) that allows workers to receive 100 euros to pay for public transport, parking, or other expenses.
The best way to get to the Porto Office is by public transportation – Metro Station Trindade or Aliados. If you go by car here are a few examples of parking: Siloauto or Parque da Trindade.
The best way to get to the Lisbon Office (K-Tower) is by public transportation either train, bus or metro. The office is located right next the the Oriente Station. If you go by car, here are a few examples of parking: Saba Gare fo Oriente, Parque Estação Ferroviária Gare Oriente telpark by Empark.
At Braga Office, you can still park at the garage spots as long as there are places available.

Yes, we have! Actually, we have two options: a canteen, with meal service in both offices, provided by an external supplier. Meal price: 4.50€. The lunch menu will be self-service and includes bread, soup, main course, dessert (fruit or sweet dessert)
And a place where you can warm up your own food (we have several microwaves available), have a soup, a piece of fruit and a coffee (without any cost).

At Critical TechWorks, the time-out policy is short: you are responsible for scheduling your time out, you do not require anyone’s approval, but you are accountable for scheduling and using the days within the year.
In your first year, you are entitled to two days of holidays per month, to a maximum of 20 days, and you do not need to wait 6 months to start enjoying those days.
Every new year, January 1st, you get 22 holidays, plus the additional days provided by the company according to your tenure. Time counts, and we reward long-term relationships. You can have up to 8 extra days of holidays.
The holidays must be booked no later than the end of March each year (or within the first 30 days after joining the company).
All the available days must be taken in the year they are due – from January 1st till December 31st.
