• Collaborative Design: Work closely with developers, POs, and UX designers, employing your creativity to craft visually stunning designs and interfaces that prioritize the user's experience and brand fit.
• Project Diversity: Engage in diverse projects across the BMW ecosystem – BMW, MINI, Rolls Royce and Motorrad, among others – each offering unique challenges and opportunities for creative exploration.
• Design and Craftmanship: Become a driver for design and quality for each project, ensuring consistency, high standards, and alignment with the distinct visual identity of each of the BMW Group’s brands.
• Adaptation and Innovation: Stay adaptable in a fast-paced environment, continuously bringing innovative ideas with a keen understanding of digital design processes to the forefront of automotive UI.

Whatever you’re working on, here’s the lowdown on the technical skills you’re likely to have:

• A clear understanding of the digital design process and a strong affinity for UI and brand differentiation, specifically.
• A strong passion for technology and design, with a focus on translating brand DNA into exceptional designs.
• Experience or a keen interest in Interface Design and the ability to adapt to the unique requirements of automotive and mobile platforms.
• A balance of productivity and experimentation in the design process, with the ability to create pixel-perfect compositions.
• Mastery of design tools such as Adobe Suite and Figma, focusing on atomic design principles and the ability to organize and maintain a design system.
• Strong self-criticism, creativity, and a willingness to work in a collaborative environment.
• The ability to quickly adapt to changes and bring innovation to the car industry.

Apart from great technical skills, our environment is fast-paced and 100% agile, and prioritizes autonomy, teamwork, interaction and resilience. This means our UI Design Gurus must also possess the following:

• Embrace agile and its implementation frameworks namely Scrum, to make the most out of all its events and work to keep evolving a high-performing team.
• Be available to be a cross-functional team member by using and developing new skills and enabling a fully responsible team able to cover the whole product lifecycle.
• Be available to travel abroad for short periods, as required to support all the phases of the product development cycle when needed.
• Have excellent English oral and written skills. German communication skills will be a plus.
