Heads up! The contract will be through one of our outsourcing partners, but you'll be working full-time with us as part of our team.
At Critical TechWorks, we are redefining the automotive world with our expertise in SAP solutions. This role is all about enabling seamless production planning and manufacturing processes through robust SAP solutions.
Focusing on the Production Planning area, your daily work will revolve around supporting and optimizing SAP PP processes within a high-volume automotive manufacturing environment. You will help transform complex production scenarios into efficient, scalable solutions that support global operations. What you’ll be doing
Production Planning Optimization: Configure and maintain SAP PP processes including MRP, BOM, Routing, Production Orders, and Capacity Planning to ensure efficient manufacturing operations.
MRP & Scheduling Excellence: Manage and optimize MRP execution cycles and production planning processes in high-volume automotive environments.
JIT/JIS Manufacturing Support: Support just-in-time and just-in-sequence processes, including scheduling agreements and supply coordination.
Integration & Data Flow: Monitor and support EDI/IDOC processes (e.g., DELFOR, DELJIT, ORDERS, DESADV) ensuring seamless integration across systems.
Process Improvement: Conduct Fit/Gap analyses and design workshops to align business requirements with SAP functionalities.
Integration Mastery: Seamlessly integrate SAP modules, upholding the integrity of system architectures and data flows.
Lifecycle Ownership: Support end-to-end SAP implementation cycles, including requirement gathering, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
Agile Collaboration: Work in cross-functional Scrum teams, contributing to the agile and iterative development of high-quality SAP applications.
Backlog Management: Skillfully manage product backlogs and dependencies, ensuring priorities are clear and aligned with business objectives.
Whatever you’re working on, here’s the lowdown on the technical skills you’re likely to have
Extensive SAP Expertise: 7+ years of experience in SAP technologies, particularly in SAP PP, with additional knowledge of SAP PM being highly valued.
Automotive Manufacturing Knowledge: Strong understanding of high-volume production environments and JIT/JIS processes typical of the automotive industry.
Business Analysis Skills: Proven ability to work with stakeholders, gather requirements, and translate business needs into SAP solutions.
SAP Architecture Insight: Solid understanding of SAP architecture patterns and integration standards.
Integration & Migration Experience: Experience with SAP migration strategies, tools, and continuous integration practices.
Modern SAP Technologies: Familiarity with SAP HANA, S/4HANA, SAP UI5, and SAP Fiori (preferred but not mandatory).
DevOps & Agile Practices: Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and reliable deployment practices within Agile environments (Scrum).
Technical Awareness: Basic knowledge of ABAP debugging and ability to read simple ABAP code.
Operational Support: Ability to support run and operate post-deployment activities, including occasional on-call support (with compensation).
Mobility & Communication: Willingness to travel abroad occasionally during development phases. Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.

Embrace agile and its implementation frameworks namely Scrum, to make the most out of all its events and work to keep evolving a high-performing team.
Be available to be a cross-functional team member by using and developing new skills and enabling a fully responsible team able to cover the whole product lifecycle.
Use state of the art DevOps quality practices and tools such as Continuous Integration /Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to build, analyse, perform automated testing and deployment processes, to ensure a streamlined and reliable development workflow.
Run and operate developed software inside and outside working hours if needed, to provide high quality software services (extra compensation will be applicable).
Be available to travel abroad for short periods, as required to support all the phases of the product development cycle when needed.
Have excellent English oral and written skills. German communication skills will be a plus.
